Kia Ora, I am delighted to be the leader of the Middle School Team (Year 3 and 4) and classroom teacher of room 10. Over my 18 years of teaching I have mostly taught on the North Shore but have also had experience teaching over seas in North Carolina, U.S.A where my husband, Jason and I lived for two years. My journey at Takapuna Primary began last year and it is has been wonderful to work with dedicated staff who are passionate about learning and achieving high standards. I have two gorgeous children, Jemma and Liam. Jemma is looking forward to starting school at Takapuna this year. The other member of our family is our gentle, kind natured dog called Astro. Sport is a big part of my personal life. I enjoy snow boarding in Winter and running in Summer. I plan to run the Brisbane half marathon in the July school holidays and to learn new chords and tunes to play on the guitar. I am also learning to speak French to use for that trip to Paris one day. I look forward to a successful, fun and challenging learning year with room 10 this year and achieving personal goals.
